I am thinking about adding a detachable cathedrial length train to my dress. Does anyone know how many feet that usually is?

My sister in law had it trust me its a life saver esp when you are dancing instead of having a bussle to deal with. The only thing I can say is negative is when you get the dress practice taking it off and on as much as possible. When my sister in law was announced and she was going into her first dance she got stuck and no one knew how to snap it off quickly.

I want to say a cathedral varies by manufacturer but typically it is 2 yards ( 6 feet from teh waist)

I found this:

LENGTHS AND TRAINS
Street Length - hem just covering knees
Intermission length - hem falling slightly below the knee in front, to the ankle in back.
Ballet length - hem reaching to center of the calf or a bit below.
Floor length - hem fully skimming the floor.
Sweap train - shortest train, barely sweeping the floor.
Court train - a train extending one foot longer than the sweep train.
Chapel train - most popular train- about one-and-one third yards.
Cathedral train - very formal-cascading two –and-one-half yards.
