Our ceremony and reception are at the same location (4 miles from my parent's house)
The bridal party and guests are staying at a hotel about 15 minutes away from the reception.
We have not arranged transportation back to the hotel because most seem to have cars (or can ride with someone who does) It's not really a money issue but more logistics. To pay for both ways is really expensive and we really only need one way transport back to the hotel for those who were drinking. People would then have to get their cars in the morning back at the reception venue though so I might be making more work by arranging something.
What do you think?

Re: Transport for Bridal Party
I think that'll be fine. I've been in BP that had both. Truthfully I always found a ride & never had a problem doing so. To have something arranged is a nice extra but it is just one more - fairly large - expense.

Re: Transport for Bridal Party
i think to keep costs down that sounds like a better idea..every penny counts and people can always find rides..you can even set aside designated people to take others..
