soi was just browsing some posts.. and it got me wondering...
im getting married at the RH with no time between the ceremony adn CH... perfect right??
well what about the BP that for my case the girls... who may not have a ride home?
woudl i be responsible? woudl it look 'bad' if i wasnt taking care of it.. considering right now my thought is its up to you.? <-- is that wrong of me?
i am staying the night before at a hotel in one roommy parents in another...i may be with with FH, if not i was goign to invite 2 or 3 girls to stay with me that night, for the others i was not providing a limo since i will be a 15 min car ride away and im to get dressed in the bridal suite....
so do i need to concern myself with how they are gettign home?

I've been thinking about the samething. We are gettting married at our RH and arriving 2 hrs before ceremony for photos. So is it worth renting limos? Anyone know if you can rent to arrive and depart and not have to pay for all the hours in between??

Any of the weddings that I have been in we all just got rides home from some of the guests at the wedding.

I've never been provided transportation after a wedding when I've been in the bridal party.
For my bridal party, my family will have a ride home arranged, but most everyone else will go with their dates or figure out a ride

since we are doing no limos luckily the wedding party for the most part is staying in the hotel with the OOT guests so shuttle is given for free by the hotel.
the rest of us are hitching rides from non-drinkers

You can definitely do a drop off/pick up. I got a quote for 3 hours + pick up, so you can definitely just as for a quote for drop off/pick up.

i only got a ride home provided for me ONCE - my cousin got some vans for us
i am not providing transportation bc i figure that everyone can get a ride BUT FILs asked me for my limo company's info bc they want to pay for a ride home for themselves and their friends ( they like to PARTY! lol) so i am going to call the limo company and see if they can give them a good deal
if they have extra room in the limo i am going to see if any of my friends need a ride home and then give my FILs some money to 'let them in' their limo/van
my family doesnt drink and they all have rides home - there is a BIG GAP btw my church and hall so i everyone NOT in the BP is prob going to drive on their own.
why am i so long winded all the time?

IMO you don't have to arrange transportation home for them. Every wedding I have been in, I have found my way home. If they are bringing a guest, then their guest needed to get to the RH. You can always remind them to make sure they have their car at the RH so they can get home or someone can pick them up.

Im doing the same thing as you, staying at a hotel the night before then going to the RH early to get pics taken. But Im having my whole bridal party stay there also. We got 2 limos to take all of us the RH but we're not providing transportation after.

all my adults have their own cars so I don't have to worry about that.
Everyone is family and close friends so get some to make sure they all get rides home. You should not have to worry about that.

We are in the same boat and got two limos - guys in one on the way there, girls in the other...after the whole hoopla we can either all ride together or FH and I in one and everyone else in the other...
