My dress is expected in at the end of the month ( )...only issue is that it's in Florida and it needs to be in NY lol. I knew when I ordered it I'd be facing an issue of getting it to NY....but now I need to have a gameplan!!
I can take a chance and have the shop UPS it to my parents in NY. I can drive it to NY but I will need to have fittings earlier then I normally would because I can only drive up there during August. Someone also told me I could buy a seat for it on a plane...I would need to check on this and I would feel a little ridiculous lol.
What should I do????

i drove with my dress from Ohio and didn't have a problem...and i drove with DH and our dog in a tiny car! However, my dress has a lace overlay so wrinkles won't show with that material.

I am in the exact same situation! My dress is coming in at the end of the month and I was intending on just flying to FL for my fittings but its now just not in the budget..SO I think I'm going to go down for my first fitting, then bring it back with me on the plane OR have it shipped...either one will work. My bridal consultant at the boutique actually informed me that she ships the dresses all the time and its fine
NOW my problem is finding a place I can trust to do my alterations and finding a place to store it because I have no space in my apt!!
