with our photographer we can do either... we were going to do an engagement shoot but at this point we have been engaged for a year already... i feel like time is going to fly by and I don't even know if it's worth it to do it... besides if we do a trash the dress it gives me an excuse to wear my beautiful gown again!!!!

If u want the Epics, DO THEM! IT IS NEVER TO LATE! If u want to Trash ur dress, the do it too.... I would NOT trash my dres...

I vote trash the dress. You get to wear your gown again, and have some more time to get the shots you missed during your wedding day.

i'd do TTD, but I personally wouldn't trash my dress, I just take the shots I wasn't able to during my wedding.

this!! lol there will be no stains or rips! maybe some jumping in the water with it! but def no 'trashing' just fun casual shots in it!

Going to do an after wedding photo shoot which I have a photographer for 3.5hrs for 3 locations. Plan on doing some nice causal photos and trash the dress. You get the best of both worlds.
See how much time you have with the photographer and work it in to do both…..

I vote for trash the dress but only if you're really going to trash it! I'm talking about running in the mudd, going into the water at the beach, throwing yourself in sand, getting paint balled, you get the point I really want to do that hahaha.
Otherwise, I say go for e-pics. We're taking ours in about a month just so that we can have pics of us at this stage in our life, and as someone said, just have beautiful pics of us in our natural element

This is so hard! I def don't want to 'trash' the dress, I just want to take fun pics in the dress that we won't get on our day... but an e shoot sounds like so much fun too!!!!!!!

i like the e pics because they are sweet photos with your FH that you can use for a lot of things... frames or for wedding related things where you might not have a lot of use for trash the dress photos......
i love trash the dress pictures; however, i don' t know that i would do it.... i know that some people use the fabric to have a dress made for the christening of their first born so it has sentimental value which you wouldn't be able to do if you trash it.....
it all comes down to matter of preference

I would totally TTD! You do crazy fun shots and don't have to worry about dirtying your dress. One of my FAVORITE TTD shots is below. I mean C'mon! How fun does that look! and its so bright and colorful... did I meantion fun? lol.. but its your choice.
