Travel Insurance - Credit Card vs Other

which is better and why? it seems like im covered for alot of stuff under my AMEX card while travel agaent would want me to go with outside party. only differece is see if somone were to get sick. nt really covered under by AMEX. differece is about 70 bucks with AMEX being lower. any help would be great - waiting for travel agent to call back.

I'm not really sure which is better. FH and I aren't covered with our credit cards, but since we are booking sandals they cover us if there is a major storm that disrupts the trip. Our travel agent recommended the extra insurance because it covers everything. So for about 138 we are both covered no matter what. I would say if $70 isn't that much money to you (If you feel u can spare it) then get the insurances that covers it all.
If you like you can email my travel agent. She is great. So sweet, and helpful and definitly is not into selliing you things you don't need.
