tri county wedding band brides

so my fh bought my ring at Kays, therefore there is a warranty on it..... God forbid I lose a diamond they will replace it!
I'm having such a hard time finding a wedding I like bc I don't want all plain white diamonds!!
I. ordered the one that is fitted for my ring.... returned it, didn't like it! order a ring with a slight curve, its ok.... not 100% sure. so I ordered an all blue diamond plain round band from zales waiting for that too come in if that doesn't work I have one I think I liked at littmans, I don't remember it rally bc we found it while I. was xmas shopping....But they r only out in smithaven mall or green acres! I'm by sunrise mall!! so getting the inspection every six months would be such a pain!!

any way my long drawn out story has a question..... if that doesn't work out I will go back to tri county and see about a custom ring...... but what do u do about insurance or a warranty?? what if I lose a stone?
I'm hoping I. like one of these last 3/ snd I don't have ti go to tri county but I want to be prepared!! TIA!!

Tri county really isn't that bad. My engagement ring setting is actually from there and they did a great job with sizing it after FH proposed. I was thinking of going back to get my wedding bands there. You can always get your wedding band appraised and then add it to a renters or homeowners policy like with an engagement ring.

I don't think that tri county is bad, sorry I didn't mean that!
my grandma swore by tri county, abd she was a jewler for a bit. but with out getting into my whole story in. short I don't have insurance on my engagement ring so I can't do that with a band! not yet at least.... hopefully we move before wedding and can!

No need to apologize! Do you have a family member who can maybe add your ring onto their homeowners policy for the time being just to give you piece of mind? My friend did that until he moved in with his wife.

Just be aware with tri-county that some of them move, they also seem to have more gold and diamonds than anything else and right now that is out of our budget.

We went looking for Sam at Diamond Roof because he was spoken of so well by so many brides here....he was gone. Don't know where he went or when or even if he is still in the business, but he's not there anymore.

I don't know how or where we are going to find our rings. We are looking for celtic knot bands and most seem to say show us a pic and we can have it made for you. It would be easier to buy online at that rate and we can't find the style we like even on line so how are we going to find it there? We can't afford a lot and not just because of the money we are spending on the wedding.

Good luck finding the right ring and getting it insured, I'm sure you will find a way.

Oh no! I was going to go to him! Where the heck did he go? I'm sure some brides on here might know because they've ordered their bands from him. I was banking on tri county because I've heard so many positive reviews and good deals from jewelers there.

Jewelers mutual for insurance! My FH got my ring from a private jeweler in the Commack Jewelery Exchange and while they cover it should the stone fall out or whatnot she suggested Jewelers mutual. Just go on their website and you can get a quote for the appraised value. My ring is fully insured (lost, damaged, stolen, mysterious disappearance) for $109 a year with no deductible. Even if your ring is covered from the store you bought it from I'd suggest looking into this so it's covered for EVERYTHING.

Thanks Rose.
You are right, Mystic is kinda far as is Celtic Revival outside Boston and Raru near Niagara Falls.
We aren't into Claddagh rings and are looking for something durable that will match the color and shine of my engagement ring, with a nice knot pattern. Most places we have seen online are either too expensive or don't have what we are looking for.
Thank goodness we have a little time to search. Will look into the one you suggested, there is one in Massapequa and West Islip as well. Wish us luck.

sam didn't move.... he's only there on thursdays and sundays i believe. and when he isn't there, he obviously clears out all of the shelves of the jewelery because you can't just leave it in there even though the glass shelves are locked. He is extremely reliable and my wedding bank appraised for alot more than what I paid for through him. I would recommend him to anyone, and my FH now regrets not buying my e-ring through him as well. He got a good deal through a family jeweler, but thinks he would've done better with sam.. oh well
