Do you tip at the hair or makeup trials? If so, how much?

I would think just as much as you would for any hair service. I did 20%. Interested to hear what everyone else says!

Re: trial tipping?
when I did my makeup trial we actually booked on the spot and my mom put down a little more money than was necessary so she's didn't have to pay a whole lot the day of. So we didn't actually leave a tip at the trial. On the day of, I do plan on giving her an extra tip for doing me, my mom and my girls.
For the hair trial, I'm going next week but I do plan to tip as if I was just going in there to get my hair done. If she takes the time to do 2 different looks, I will tip a little more.

Thanks. Who are you ladies using. I find it funny that the first 2 responses are also Riviera brides.

:) <3 the Riviera!! Who are you thinking about for hair btw? I still haven't decided, but I'm going to check out Lacole in Seaford since it's close to the Riviera. I'll be getting ready at my mom's house in Bay Shore though --- so I'm also Looking at Village Salon and Spa in Islip and then Self Image in the Amityville Triangle area....b/c my mom got her wedding hair done there!
Any other ideas are appreciated :) PLUS - I see we're also both Pastor April Brides! Love her too!

LOL I didn't even noticed that
I am actually going to a local salon that is around the corner from my mom's house (where I am getting ready). It's in the Bronx and it's called Guys & Dolls.
