True Companion

I just listened to the song 'True Companion' by Marc Cohn. I am thinking of changing my wedding song to that---has anyone ever heard of it? Any opinions??

Dani, that was MY wedding song!!
I always wanted it and I played it for my DH and he loved it too!!

It is nice too because it is not too common!! A lot of guests at our wedding commented on how beautiful the song is.

Let us know what you decide!!

WOW...thats my song too...i didn't realize it was so popular! When I was in college (where i met fh) i was watching an episode of 'felicity' where they played the song. that was the first time i ever heard it and i said to fh (who at the time was just my best friend) what a beautiful song! i never mentioned it again...then, lo and behold...six months later when we started dating...the first present he gave me was the marc cohn cd!

i couldn't believe he remembered AND went to all that trouble to figure out who sung it etc...all that from a fraternity boy! i was in love

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT SONG!!!! and would have used it, but FH's good friend is using it at his wedding shortly b4 ours and we didn't want to use 'their song'....

i love that song!!! we were thinking of using it, but i thought it was too 'one-sided' - the guy talking to the girl and not more 'couple-ish'. does that make sense?? anyway, it's on our must play list, but it's not our wedding song.

LOVE that song! Vinnie had it playing in the limo when he proposed to me, so its very sentimental. We didn't use it for our wedding song, but he had the band play it special for me!

its an awesome song - we are planning on using it for a dance for all newly married (under a year) or engaged couples since we will have aroudn 10 at our wedding!
