all i can say is what a waste of time! i got the post card in the mail and made an apt three weeks ago. i got there today for my appt for the lazaro bridesmaid trunk show and was pointed in the direction of a rack with ten dresses on it. wow. so glad i didnt have to take off from work for that. no one even came over and there were no other customers in the store! my advice is not to bother!
The beauty of a trunk show is that they'll give you a discount for any of their dresses... I went to Pricilla of Boston for a Melissa sweet show and she offered me a discount on dresses that were NOT melissa sweet and offered it to me even after the show ended! Maybe it was just Bridal Reflections... or maybe it was just Pricilla...
I went to a trunk show in November of 2004 for Eve of Milady at the store in Massapequa. I had the best experience & it was a sneak-peak at the 2005 EOM dress line. I found my dream dress & even got 15% off the price. Sorry that your experience wasn't the best. It could be what the designer sent. Good luck!
I actually have a reservation for the Lazaro trunk show tomorrow...I'm basically just going for the discount.
i hope you have better luck than me! i would have liked to have asked some questions, but no one was around. it couldve been a nice time. im glad i didnt ask my girls to take off from work!
