Has anyone been to a trunk show? I tried on a dress at a bridal store, but wanted to keep looking, now the designer will be having a trunk show next week. Do you think she'll have the dress I tried on?
Does anyone know about Trunk Shows? What's the deal with them?

They should have the dress and there will probably be a small discount on them - usually 10%.

I got my dress at a trunk show at Kleinfeld. I got 15% off. I first found the dress at her first trunk show. from what I understand its basically when a designer comes with their dresses and offers additional discounts.

I bought my dress at a trunk show. The designer usually brings the entire line of dresses with them to the trunk show, but you should ask the shop if they can have the exact style you want there.
If you really love the dress, definitely buy it at a trunk show. You get a discount, and the designer or designer rep is usually there to give you more insight/options (they'll alter the dress differently for you, maybe they'll throw in a veil, etc.)
