i am going monday to try dresses on!!! this is the first time & i am so nervous. i was crying last night because i am so excited and i think this makes it all real.
the first time you tried dresses on who went with you??
it was going to be just my sister (MOH) & i. is my mom suppose to come too??

when i went to look at dresses i went with my sister boh, and a bm. the second time i went i took my mom and another bm. it is really fun. u will have a great time. i can't wait to go again.

i had my mom and 3 of my bridesmaids there when i went to try on dresses for the fist time when i pick my dress tho i want my grandmother to come too.

I took my MOH with me. We had a blast and she realized the type of dress that she would love to get if she ever gets married!!
I decided not to take my mom, coz I want her to go once I decide what style and type of dress I like. Right now it is up in the air as to what my wedding dress will be, so don't want to drag my mom out there unnecessarily. Once I have selected my favorites, then I will drag my mom so she can help me choose.

My mom and sister (MOH). One of my bm's wants to go just to 'play'....so I think I'll do that with her first and then get serious!!

I asked all my bridesmaids to come with, I thought you were supposed to for some reason? I don't talk to my mom but my step mom will be there too. Do you think that's too many people?

I went twice...both times with my MOH. I went to David's Bridal but didn't see anything. I'm going to try some other stores hopefully soon!

i have heard of a lot of different things. i am super picky & only my FH knows what i like. i can send him into any store & he can shop for me without me being with him. i also hate trying clothes on in the store. i prefer to try things on at home.
i realize i can't do this with a wedding dress & i don't want FH to see the dress until i walk down the aisle. so i have been e-mailing my sister constantly with what i like & what i don't like so we don't have an argument in the middle of the store.
the rest of my bridal party are my cousins & they have much different taste then i do. so i will not take them until i go for a fitting.

i was going to go by myself but since i need other opinions on what looks good, i am afraid the sales associates will try to persuade me into buying a dress

Aww, that's so exciting! You're going to have so much fun!
I'm getting my dress made, but I still wanted to have the experience of going to a store and trying on dresses. I went 2 times. first time was with another bride on this website and the second time was with my mom. i'll probably go 1 or 2 more times just for fun!

I have to start looking soon but I really hope I will not be this size when I need to order so I do not know. I feel the dress will look nicer if im smaller.

thats pretty much exactly what happens so its best to go with someone.... or narrow down a few choices on your own then bring in the fam for their opinion

well it was suppose to be with my mom and moh at kleinfields but it was a last minute thing with one of my BM's/// i stilllll didnt tell my mom we went she would be so upset
