Trying On Wedding Dresses

I am going to look for/try on wedding dresses for the first time tomorrow. Im going to Davids Bridal in Brooklyn. If I have no luck there, I will go to the smaller boutiques out here in Suffolk County. I am excited about it, even though we don't really know what we are doing or when we are getting married. I think we are going to stick with May 2002.

Trying On Wedding Dresses

Have a great time trying on the dresses. I did the same thing....I went to David''s and found somthing I sort of liked but ended up getting my dress at a salon around the corner. I thought I would hate trying on dresses but after about 5 minutes I was having a great time! Good luck in your search!!!

Some advise

Wear a strapless bra and pantyhose and bring a pair of heals with you too. Keep a very open mind and try on all types of dresses. I was shocked at some of the dresses that I loved on me. I thought tulle would make me look fat, fat, fat but instead it looked really nice on me. Some of the dresses I really liked on looked horrible on the hanger. Enjoy yourself. It is soooo much fun!!
