So I called a store to make an appt for this Friday. They were like 'someone will have to call you back'. That was hours ago. No one has called me. I didn't think making an appt would be a big deal! Is it?? Should I just try to go somewhere else??

Oy-- dress shopping is stressful-- if they stress you out right away don;t bother..
I looked mostly in the city, and of course Kleinfeld.. but I was at Wedding Salon of Manhasset this weekend-- they were very nice and had some great dresses.

Yup...try another place. I called two places today and they told me I didn't need an appt.

I would call a few other places-some you dont even need an appointment. I got my dress from Macys-i made an appointment like an hour before and they were so nice to me there. Lilettes is also pretty good and commack wedding center. Good luck!!!
