Just not a fan of everything matching perfectly and it kind of reminds me of early 90's IMHO

Way too much effort. Silver or gold can look just as uniform. I'm having them all do silver strappy heels of their choice.

I'm not really a fan, either. I've bought shoes of all colors, so I don't think there's a need to go through the process of dyeing anything.

1 - the matchy matchy thing wasnt my thing 2 - if its an odd color, when are they going to wear them again? 3 - going to point 2, more $$ for them to spend 4 - godforbid it rains, they are NOT water proof.. so it could get kinda messy

exactly this!!! i think silver goes great w/ a lot of dresses and if not, there's always gold.

I agree with this and plus I wore them one time and the dye got all over my feet and didn't look good.

I think dyables for the bride is fine. Not so much for the BM's.

Re: Trying to prove a point here to someone...
it wouldnt let me say NO, but definitely NO! I have had dye on my soles for days after wearing dyed shoes, and I hate that!
Also, matchy matchy is kinda not a hot look. Silver or gold, or even black (if your dresses are dark) work well.

They get your feet whatever color you dye them , and really being matchey-matchey is not necessary.

thanks girls - trying to prove to my FSIL that nobody does dyed shoes anymore! We still don't have BM dresses for her NOVEMBER wedding and last night she said she wanted dyed shoes from payless. Um no thanks.

I told my girls they can wear whatever shoe or color they want I could care less.
I am dyeing my shoes Navy though to be my something blue and thats what the girls are wearing. But it was free with the purchase of the shoes.

No dye due to possible rain. Although I was told the dye is waterproof the shoes still got spotted.

its so overdone. also how many pairs of weird color shoes do you have from being a bridesmaid do you have? I have a ton... i dont have the heart to throw them out because they were all so expensive but really when am i going to wear olive green shoes lol (just imagine ow awful that dress was )
I just think a silver or gold shoe is much more elegant looking

Yes... i let them pick whatever shoes they wanted... but i wanted the shoes too match because the dress was bright orange and i didnt like any other color with it..
ETA: its her wedding... just because the majority arent doing it doesnt mean she cant

My girls are wearing fuschia shoes of their choosing, with charcoal grey dresses. I think one of the BM might be using dyables because she can't find something she likes that's already fuschia.
