7th? omg..sending you good dress vibes...do you know what you want and you haven't been able to find it? Or are you still just not sure?

I think its really only the fifth time. I worked at a bridal salon in college, so I think I just know too much. There is a dress I'm thinking about, but I'm just not sure. I want a drop waist with a full skirt, but I really want something different.

Have you tried Dolly Couture? Google it. They are more 'offbeat' or 'pin-up' style than the normal gowns you see. She just opened a flagship store in NYC. A close friend of mine ordered her gown last week for next June and is super excited!

Someone else told me to look there too. They are cute, but I want a floor length gown, not a tea-length, and that seems to be what they specialize in.

from what I see/hear it does appear most are tea length BUT I believe she can cut any dress to your specific desire. Check her FB page. It's not my style, but she does have really nice stuff.

Good luck! I kind of wish I didn't buy my gown already bc I found trying them on to be so fun lol. Enjoy it-- once you decide you will have no more excuses to play dress up hehe.

I definitely don't have the butt to pull that off! I only want it to drop to my hip bone. It would be beautiful on someone with a great figure though! THanks for trying though!

I have found that helping other people find gowns is actually more fun than finding your own!

How different are you looking? When I was shopping, I was looking for the same silhouette you are, but I didn't want the same strapless dress I've seen 1000 times. I wanted something with a tiny bit of edge. I feel in love with a number of sphia tolli gowns, I don't know if you've looked at her at all... mine is the daphe. I also liked the Narelle, and the Pamela by Maggie
