TTC ladies...need your advice/opinions (long...)

I've been on the pill for forever...and now that I'm married I'm starting to feel like it's wrong to be on it (I feel like I'm playing 'god' so to speak by preventing anything) but DH wants to wait till we have a house and all. We had agreed to wait at least a year...but I feel as if we should let whatever happen just happen....anyone else experience these conflicting feelings?

I do...sort of. But, I think (for us anyway) that it would be the right thing to do to have a child when we are finally settled and in a house and are financially in a good place before we bring a child into this world.

I'd rather stay on the pill for now...live in our 2x4 apartment while searching for a home...then, once we find it and get settled...then TTC.

My conflicting feeling is my husband! He says we aren't ready money-wise but then again, who is?? We live in an apartment above my parents and won't have a house (there are talks of us taking over the house once we have kids) but I am not waiting till we get a house to have a child...I'll be 31 in May and I have been ready! Sure it will be easier to have a house (instead of moving with child or a baby or toddler) before you TTC but that will a decision that you and your husband have to make!

I am having conflicting feelings also. If I could go off the pill right now I totally would!!! The only reason I am not is because deep down inside I know that I will be better off if I wait. There are things that I need to do, like get a little deeper into my masters program, plan it so I have a child in the summer because of work, have a little bit more $ saved.. things like that.
I totally know what you are saying though, now that we are married I dont like being on the pill either!
