I am getting married next year. We know that we want to start having kids soon after getting married. My question is that I have been on birth control pills for a few years now and want to know how long before ttc should I stop taking my pills. I wouldn't want to harm my child in anyway with chemicals from the pills still in my system.

My doctor told me to stop taking them 3 months before I tried to conceive!!

I got off them in Dec. and by Feb. I was pregnant.

My doctor said that it didn't matter...but if it should be about 2 months to get out of your system and be regular.

That is what my dr. said also, and she put me on vitamans.
