I just found out that 8pm on Tuesdays I am going to have to choose between House M.D. and 90210. WHAT AM I TO DO!?!?!?!?!?!
I actually liked the new 90210...and now (thanks to DH refusing to get DVR) I am going to have to choose.
Yes I realize there is still a war going on and world hunger to resolve but I am torn over this!!!

If I didn't have DVR. . . well actually BEFORE I had DVR I had my old school VCR set up and I used to tape things on VHS. Do you have another TV you can hook up a VCR to?
I honestly don't know what I would do without DVR. I feel sick just thinking about it. I can't wait to go home today and watch General Hospital and ANTM and then FF through most of the VMAs and THEN Entourage!!!!

I've thought the same thing! Luckily we have DVR, but my parents control that TV. What I would do is watch 90210, because House will be online the next day, 90210 wont be

This is the last season of House, so you definitely need to watch it!!! I am so sad it's going off the air!

If I had to choose I would say House. I can't get enough of that show!
I wouldn't watch TV if I didn't have a tivo! (We actually have 3, don't ask...) I am spoiled now and can't watch commercials. Plus I love watching my shows when I want and not having to worry about being around a TV when shows I want are on.

THIS is how I convinced DH that he would loooove TiVo.
You can make your own instant replays, because you can rewind live TV. Also, when the phone rings during a game you're watching, you can pause it for up to a 1/2 hour and then come back to the game without missing anything!
I bought our first TiVo as a present for our anniversary and DH didn't think we needed it. Now he can't live without it either, and he's a total sports guy like your hubby.
