Tulips at your weddin??

Did anyone have tulips either as your centerpiece or in your boquet??? I want these very badly and I've been hearing that they aren't good flowers to have because they open too quickly?? I'm not sure did anyonlse have problems with your tulips?? Thanks

the centerpieces held up great (because they had a water supply). The few tulips that were in the BMs bouquets wilted by the end of the night (which I was warned about, but I wanted them anyway).

not in the least - they're one of my favorite flowers. I LOVED my centerpieces and bouquets - they were stunning!

the centerpieces lasted well over a week.

tulips made the most beautiful centerpieces at my sister's wedding-i love them!
she had white tulips in a large clear round vase and it was gorgeous
tulips are particularly good for your time of the year-march b/c they remind you of early spring

Lisa's centerpieces from the pictures she posted looked absolutely stunning. I think the tulips would be fine as long as there was water in your vase.

I was recommended not to have tulips in my girls bo-ks because without water they would wilt rather quickly.
