We need to keep things positive!! We are all approaching our wedding dates, so lets take what really p i sses us off and turn it around and laugh about it!!

My BM, who cannot afford to bring her fiance from TX, asked to bring 2 dates, her mom and bro...so her whole fam....

Sure thing...I just need to take a trip to the money farm!

I can really go ON and ON.... that's how sad its been, but thanks for the thread! Atleast I know I'm on the same boat as people. So here are my top 3 irkers of the moment:

1. If I have to explain why I am getting married on a Thursday again, I'm gonna really have to shoot whoever said it,

2. I am constantly being told by every person who should be in my bridal party (as we still haven't finalized our choice)


AND THE BEST ONE OF ALL!
3. I was told by a person who attended my engagement party that having one was tacky.
3b. Was told by the same person that I OWE her $100 at her wedding, cause it was her gift to me at the engagement party.



WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about tacky!

hey...ill pay for my wedding so u can eat and drink into oblivian...and then ill pay you for showing up!...better yet..no gifts please! I dont need any helping starting my life with my new husband! in fact...this party...its just for you..in your honor...for being the most tactful person I kno! Dont forget to wear white!

All this for a person who charged a cover charge to get into her bridal shower... literally 40 bucks a head. Thank God my invite got lost in the mail!

A friend asked me 'What do you usually give for a wedding- like 50 bucks??'

I was like 'NO- usually at least $100-200 PER PERSON, more if you bring a date!'

The best part is- SHE WAS MARRIED

After already knowing that I was not having children at the wedding...........FH's cousin walked up to me on Christmas in front of his whole family with a pic of her daughters sonogram and said 'Aren't you so excited about having this baby at your wedding?' I looked at her straight in the eye and told her the baby wasn't invited!!!

while interviewing prospective photographers I asked if photog could air brush certain pics to cover unsightly moles and freckles on my arms, my gown is sleeveless.

He said it would be easier for him if I just got a dress with sleeves.

how we didn't provide food for the limo ride

why do we have to take pictures on the beach? it's cold out....

FH's cousin who's been engaged for over 3 yrs: 'You can't pick 2008 bc we're next in line'?!!@# Sorry, no offense to long engagments but we have to wait until you finally decide a date and when you actually book it (they've been really fickle)??

Couple months later... we pick our date: they come out and tell the whole family that they are getting married on the weekend right after!!! We actually booked, they didn't book anything yet. FH calls him and says 'sorry we can't come we'll be on our honeymoon.'

my cousins and his wife live with her mother.. who rudely invited herself to my wedding.. so of course i did the right thing by inviting her and sending the invite.. i get the rsvp back saying YES... Yesterday (9 days before the wedding and 1 hour after paying for her seat) i get a card in the mail with anote saying..'sorry i will not be able to make it i have overlook a prior commitment' and a check for 25 bucks!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! STU-NAD!!!!!! some people i swear!

my maid of honor and some of her co-workers was making fun of my invites. They said why is she (me) written parking tickets to her guest. Meaning the color of the invites. . It's funny to me know but it wasn't at the time. especially since iI was having a bad day.
