Does the Father of the Bride and Father of the Groom wear the same as the groomsmen? Or just the same as eath other (the two fathers)?

I am not sure how it should be but The guys and the fathers are all the same but the guys are wearing different color ties HTH

Our dads got tuxes at different locations than the groomsmen. Honestly my dads tux was $150 and the GM were $230 and they looked the same! My dad just had a different color vest and tie. DH's dad had ordered one in Georgia and was going to bring it with him, but unfortunately he was too sick to come. So they don't HAVE to get the same as everyone else.

Nope..I'd have them get their own tux. They should be different than the groosmen. But it's your day so whatever you like best is the right answer!!

The guys went thru Mens Wearhouse Tux and the dad's are included in our group so they get a discount. As of right now, they have the same tuxes but they can go in and get a different one if they want. I would think the dad's should wear similar tuxes but I don't think it's necessary. Good luck!

mine are all wearing same tuxes, including FH, but with different ties & vests:
FH - White tie & vest GMs - Silver tie & vest Dads - Black ties & vest

LOL I posted this not too long ago, myself. I got a mix of answers but what we decided is that the FOB & FOG will match their wives dress colors. For example, my mom is wearing a navy dress, so my dad will wear a navy vest or cumberbund. FH's dad will wear a cranberry colored vest or cumberbund to match FMIL.

yeah thats a nice idea. I want my dad and FH dad to be diff. i mean if it was not for them FH and I would not be here :)

I did all the same tux but FH in white vest and white tie Guys in victorian lilac vest and tie Dads in Black vest and and tie

my dad and FFIL will be in the same tuxs as the guys just different colors
FH- ivory tie and vest GM's- cranberry tie and vest (to match girls dresses)

my FH is wearing a different tux from the fathers and the groomsmen..Each dad picked his own tux . they all different. i dont think they should all wear the same. fathers are special too ,therefore they should outstand among the groomsmen, but differentiate among the FH..however is ur day..=)

fh and the gms are wearing brown tuxes for our wedding. i didnt want the dads in brown...so the dads are in black...with ties/vests that match the gm.
fh - brown tux, off white vest/tie gm - brown tux, latte vest/tie (matches the girls brown).

All excellent ideas girls. Me and FH have to go over all this. We have diff opinions on the subject so have to compromise thats what marriage is about right ? lol

My FIL wore the same style - just black vest & tie. The GM wore a latte vest & tie to match the BM's...

My dad is wearing the same tux but a white or black vest (not sure yet) the men have a in ivory paisley print.
