Tuxedo question...

What do you do your first trip for the Tuxedos? Do the guys go with you? Do they need their fittings? This will be the main trip for the tuxedos since we live out of state, and most of the guys will be around for the holidays. So, whatever we need to get done will have to get done then. Our next trip will not be until 1.5 - 2 months before the wedding. Thanks in advance!

Tuxedo question...

We planned from out of state too. First, my husband went to some local tux places where we live to get some ideas. Once he chose the exact tux, we called Grey's Tuxedo in Port Jeff to make sure they could get the ones we wanted. The first time we had all the guys come in and get their measurements taken. This was done about 5 months before our wedding. We went back in July (about 5 weeks before the wedding) for a follow up fitting. Only one guy needed a different size in that time frame. On our wedding day, the tuxes were perfect, in fact my father-in-law did all his measurements over the phone and never saw his tux until the day before the wedding! Good luck and congratulations!
