tuxedo questions...

what KIND of tuxedo did your FH get?

there are so many to choose from - i don't know what the 'normal' one is LOL

Gotta be honest - I really have no idea LOL

The differences to me weren't that different so we just picked the one we liked on him. He tried on a couple and we said 'yea, that one'

Sorry, I'm really no help with the technical names and what not.

ETA: I should say too, that we did NOT go with the normal kind. FH's has a very slight pinstripe to it - its almost like a shodow and a knotched lapel. Long tie - not a bow tie and of course the vest.

He didn't want a traditional tux. He likes the mandarin suite jacket...the one with no collar. Different places call it different things

Ugh. Don't get me started with Tuxedo's. it's the one thing that I let FH pick by himself and I'm so poed I did. He picked a jacket with Tails, a green vest that sticks out about 5 inches out of the bottom, a green bow tie that matches the jacket. He also got them all white gloves to wear. I swear he things it's a circus.

I Wish!!! Everyone is telling me to let him do what he wants...I told him that I'm going with him to pick if up and if it looks absolutely ridiculous we're having them overnight a regular tuxedo at his expense.

I had no idea either..... They are very helpful when you got to pick them out I think it's easy to figure out what you like...

It's DEFINITELY NOT like picking a dress :0)
