we are using Gennaro's behind Bridal Suite in Centereach.. they were really nice and sent me a card in the mail for 1/2 off all tux rentals and groom free... if you have 7 they give you one rental free also. I would check them out. They had exactly what FH wanted, silver tie and silver matte vest

we used ray's formal wear in Franklin Square. I think they came to about $130 for each tux, with the groom's free. Seems like a lot, but we did not have ONE problem, the owners are so nice and personal - we loved dealing with them. I couldn't decide which color vest and tie I wanted my brother in, so they just gave me both. very cool.

we are using bonaventure in garden city. they have been great so far, even when i showed up with 2 future brother in laws, ffil, and 1 little guy 5 minutes before they closed! mine and my ffil's are free and they came to about $130 for everyone else.

We used Barry's Formalwear in New Jersey. They were great since you only had to go once (because they will come measure for, drop off and pick up the tuxes) and you can try EVERYTHING on.
