Ok so after all the hype, I finally finished the book, I thought it was good, kind of felt like I was 13 again reading a Judy Blume book but it was a good read........anyway, so I rent the movie this weekend, all excited to finally see it AND it was horrible...please tell me I am not the only one who felt this way.

i actually did, too! The whole movie I was hoping for more Emmett seens.
I liked the movie...but I think I liked it b/c I LOVED the book so much I just wanted to love the movie, as well. It def wasnt as good as the book...it was too rushed.

Re: Twlight girls....
christine I totally agree with you...the movie ruined some really good aspects of the book and messed up aspects that will effect the other movies drastically...like carlisle had to tell edward to stop biting her at the end...NO he did that on his own!!! and his song for her is never explained which will change the beginning of the next movie...plus about 100 other things that aggrivated me =P

I felt the exact same way. I didn't like the first book of the series at all, but I feel that she became bolder and more polished as a writer, the more books she had under her belt. Thought the last one was especially impressive.
The movie, however.... trash. I really didn't like it at all. Didn't like the acting, the changes in the storyline, or anything really.

Honestly I wouldn't finish the series. When I got halfway through the 4th book I was upset that I had wasted my time and energy on something I thought to be a ridiculous way to wrap the series up.

I actually figured out how she was going to end the series before I started reading the fourth book, so I was prepared.

That's exactly what happened to me! I was so mad at stupid passive, stereotypical Bella that I just stopped reading. I may never know what happens in those last 350 pages
