Two.. (count 'em), two questions

Two.. (count 'em), two questions

1.) Anyone on here use a wedding planner?

(For the FW and me, never even considered it.. and for us, there was no reason ever to. Kinda knew the direction we want to go in and didn't want a third party 'helping' us along.)

2.) Anyone else using dispaosbale cameras at the tables..

(The way we see it, the photographer just can't be everywhere.)

Thanks as always for your responses!

1. No.. sometimes I wish I had the money to hire one though!!

2. Still up in the air on this one. If I do, I may do one on each table.

nope- no wedding planner

Yes, table cameras. 2 were never returned 1 came out all black another was bizarre pictures of a rose from our centerpiece being placed in different spots on their table. The rest were OK quality, but suprising very few that I would keep.

FYI:

Ebay has GREAT prices on wedding cameras. $3.99 each.

Lowest I saw before that was $5.99.

1. Nope...I was the wedding planner.

2. We placed them on the table, but to be honest, not many people used them or either they were only partially used. And even though they had a flash, the photos didn't come out all that well unless you were up close to the person. The room was just too dark.

1. No way. Half the fun of a wedding is the planning!!

2. We are probably using the cameras. The hired photographer can only be in one place at a time. The disposables allow guests to capture their own candid moments.

No wedding planner. Can't really afford them.

Yes having cameras. Thinking of one table color, the other black & white.

1-No and I didn't need one, good BM and LIW helped do the job and I was very happy with my turnout!

2-Yes I did and alot came out dark, alot of cameras weren't finished, multiple shots of the same things...do a search on here on table cameras.

No: hall told us NOT to hire one they were a waste of money

I don't think we are because we don't want them to get in the way of the photographers - the last wedding I was at half of the eldery people kept stepping in front of the photographer for things like cake cutting etc - so the photographer had to get on a chair.

No wedding planner just the day of coordinator.
No cameras on the table.. anyone interested in actually taking pics can bring there digital cameras which everyone in our families have.. they print there own pics and can easily print us an extra set of them at no cost to us.

1. No wedding planner. I like my own ideas and I like being in control!!
2. Probably no to the table cameras as well, I feel like people either don't use them or they use them and take crappy pictures or they take decent pictures then leave with the camera. Not worth the hassle or the expense.

1.) never even considered it. It was just another unnecessary expense to us, since we pretty much knew what we wanted to do

2.) I just bought our disposable cameras. I always love having that option when I go to weddings- I just think it is something nice to have for the bride and groom afterward

1) Nope - I'm a control freak
2) Nope - I have enough friends who will take pics on their own cameras and give me doubles that I don't need to worry about developing all the disposable cameras
