I know grammatically it should be 'two thousand nine' but it kinda looks weird. What are you girls doing??

That is the correct way to do it, but ive been seeing alot of 'two thousand AND nine.' I think I am just going to use 'two thousand nine' since that is the grammatically correct way to write it.

Don't you only use and when there is a decimal point.

Re: Two thousand and nine or two thousand nine
yes AND means decimal, and we left the AND off because I am a teacher and I told my fiancee AND is decimal and I didn't want it. However, I think for invites either way is fine....

Re: Two thousand and nine or two thousand nine
Proper grammar would be two thousand nine but I read that for invitations, grammar etiquette is different and 'wrong'. I say do what you want.
