TWOTY

So, just curious ... who is planning to 'apply' for TWOTY?

I'm not ... I'm not into the GTGs because I am VERY shy in person with people I don't know well ... but I LOVE seeing pictures and hearing things about them! Just curious who will be submitting a video for TWOTY!!!

I was thinking about it but then i noticed it asks you to upload your video and i have no clue on how to save a video and all that jazz lol.

I was originally planning on it, but now it doesn't seem like I'm eligible to? Hopefully I get clarification on that soon. It would have been fun to at least try!

Me too! I'm a video spaz so i have no idea how the heck to do this? And how am I supposed to show how fun we are in a short video!?

And plus you don't get a new dress? that would be one reason I'd love to do it, so I could wear a dress thats totally not me, KWIM?

As far as the gown goes, the way I read it made it seem like the bride wears her own gown again, and the BMs get to wear new gowns. I'd love to wear my dress again, especially so soon after! And I'd love to have a 'wedding' where there's actually guests attending

I updated rule 5 - we base it on what the bride wants to do.

5) We will supply the men with tuxedos and the ladies with gowns. The ladies will also be getting their hair and makeup done by a fabulous LIW/NYC vendor. The bride will have the opportunity to wear her gown again or borrow a fabulous gown from an LIW/NYC vendor!

I am going to try to apply. . I really want to do it but for some reason videos and me don't get along but let's just say neither DH or I have ever met a stage we didn't like and think this would be SOOOOO much fun

Exactly thats so tough to show how fun and crazy we are thru a short video filmed in our house lol

Doesn't have to be so crazy. We want normal people. Also doesn't have to be filmed inside your house. Be creative!

Im totally pumped for this!!! im sooooo applying!!
im no film student but i will do the best i can to get the point across that DH and I are totally fun! (cuz we are!!!)

and that is a hard choise...get to wear your own dress again oooorr a brand new one! hmmmmmmmm!

I would love to do it. However, I don't think I have enough time to convince FH to do it, finish the work we need to do on the house before we move in, move, and finish the final wedding preps BEFORE the deadline (which is the night of my RD).

I'm completely stressed out over how quickly the time is going by so I don't think adding something else to my 'to do' list would help.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go though!

I had almost convinced DH but getting him to do a video by mid Nov probably knocks us out of the running since he works in CT 3 days a week. Then we are working on our bedroom so we can actually move my stuff in, and this is his busy time with winterizing boats on his side job. Plus the CT River Run, Lafayette Homecoming, our trip to see a puppy. I can't see him agreeing to take the time to do a video between now and the due date.

Oh well, we will see.

A video of you and DH stating why you want to be a part of TWOTY. Nothing said it had to be from your wedding. Just want a wedding photo of the two of you.

My husband is going nuts coming up with insane ideas as to what we can submit although Im not sure if Ron will find some of them funny or offensive

I think Im goin to have to put a stop to some of those ideas...
