We sent for our passports 10 weeks ago they told us only 8 weeks and now my honeymoon is 6 days away and we have NO passports. Anyone else having similiar problem?

I had a problem with my passport also.... I called the agency just about every day for 2 weeks straight before going on a vacay and I finally received them 2 days before leaving.... It took 11 1/2 weeks Really stressful time!!!! But now I'm set for 10 yrs

omgggg... i am sorry to hear that - when i went and did our passports last week they told us between 10-12 weeks

You need to go down to the Passport bureau. there is a listing on the site that says if you are within 2 weeks of travel you need to call them.. they can either expidete it or you might have to go down to NYC to get it..

we applied 2-13 and it took 11 weeks to get them. the web site said 10 weeks and I called when I didn't get them. I think the rep looks at the same web site cause he said they should be done in 10 weeks . . . oh that's today, well you should get them any day now!!??
maybe you will get a better answer since you need them in 6 days. GOOD LUCK I hope they show in tomorrows mail for you.

My dad had this issue...they made him go to the passport bureau in Philadelphia (he had to be there by 8am- in the pouring rain) the day before he was leaving.
He came home with one though, and his original arrived at the house the day after they left
Get on top of it- You NEED the passport!

i did my passport 2 weeks ago and i recieved mine back this past friday. i wasn't taking any changes i paid the extra money and had it rushed to me. my fh is still waiting also since march 12 for his as well.

Same here, I applied a month ago, paid the extra fee to have it expedited and I got in in about 9 days. I originally had a PP but lost it so I was just applying for a replacement so I'm not sure if that's why I got it so fast. I bet if I needed it ASAP I would still be waiting for it

FH thought I was nuts when I told him he needed to get his this far from the honeymoon, he nearly fell over when the lady told us 12 weeks was the average now. I'm sorry you have to deal with this 6 days before

My daughter works for a congresswomen in the area and gets many many calls on this issue. Call your local congress person and they will get in touch with the passport office a lot faster. Good Luck

Oh nO!!!! I applied for my about a month ago, and they said it will take 12 weeks, I think that you should def contact the office of passports and tell them your situation. I hope you get them soon!!!

I put a rush on mine paid the extra money. They told me at the P.O. it would take about 5 weeks if I didn't rush it I wouldn't see it for at least 15 weeks......... I got it 6 days later. $111 down the drain.

did that :( fortunately we just got ours today, however they did not send our son's so we are waiting for that now( he is coming with us on our honeymoon:) ) keep my fingers crossed

I am having the same dilemmia. I applied for mine in April and my check has not been cashed yet. My FH applied the same day and his check is done and he is probably going to get it any day now. What the heck>!>!> I have 6 weeks . . in 3 weeks I will definitely be grumpy if I do not have it

We were suppose to get them the 21st of May and we still have not gotten them. We need the b-certificate for our marriage license. I hope they come soon!
