We sent for our passports 10 weeks ago they told us only 8 weeks and now my honeymoon is 6 days away and we have NO passports. Anyone else having similiar problem?

OH YES! We sent for ours back in February and are yet to recieve them. I called them on TUesday and they said they would 'try' to expedite them by JUne 14th (we are leaving on June 17th). So Now I have to call again tomorrow night and check the progress. I can't believe no one told us it would take over 13 weeks!

Hey Tara, it's Jessica...OMG CONGRATS! funny seeing you here....
We're getting married in Sept in Vegas!
Anyway, you can go to the web and do a search for US passport site. They have an option to type in information ( i think it's SS # and name, dob - that sort of thing) and it will tell you if it's been granted or en route to your house and the passport number....I'll see if I can find the link.

oh my god, that is horrible, do you think you'll get it on time. They told my fiance 10 weeks and i was so scared it wouldnt come on time, I end up getting expedited and it arrived in 4 weeks. So I dont know what you can do. Can you track it?

I am having the same dilemmia. I applied for mine in April and my check has not been cashed yet. My FH applied the same day and his check is done and he is probably going to get it any day now. What the heck>!>!> I have 6 weeks . . in 3 weeks I will definitely be grumpy if I do not have it
they may be slow but they're no dummies! they process the checks up front. mine was cashed in 4 weeks and it took another 7 to get the passport. feb 13 thru may 3 or so.
