If you dont like the topic why read it...but it seems as if it has taken over the boards today and only in my measly little opinion do I think its just a tad classless.
Honestly, I dont want to know when and if anyone will be sleeping with someone on their first, second, third or 103rd date and I want to know less if they will be doing it with their period or not.
Yes, its a free country and of course you have freedom of speech to discuss whatever you may want but if thats the case then I feel that I have every right to put up this post.
Is nothing 'sacred' anymore?? And I dont mean that in a religious sense..I am just saying.

Yes I was and am offended...
There are certain things I dont need to know. I am not a prude or immature and yes I can discuss sex as much as the next person. I just thought the way it was presented and what was being said for ALL to see was a bit 'classless' and inappropriate.
That is my opinion and I am not changing it.

Ok but just put a warning label then. I eat lunch at my desk and don't want to know about some other persons period as I eat and the Thread was TO tell the truth WHY On earth woould I think it had to do with sex and their period .. I agree Porn was a lil much but I feel like sex is every other post....

if you dont like it dont read it- especially if the person posting is known for posting things like this. Maybe she doesnt have anyone to turn to and this is her outlet. maybe you dont care but others do. if you truly have a problem fm her and tell her..

On a serious note: I dont think the post in question was meant to offend. This is a topic that my sex ed teacher has discussed so I guess that was 'classless too.' Sorry the word classless just annoys me. Now to say that 'M' should not have made the post is utterly wrong..perhaps she should have put a warning..that would have helped for the more 'reserved' individuals. 'NyC' has the right to post that it offended her..thats fine too.

As for me, I find THESE type of threads the MOST annoying... far more so than anything else posted today!
Why do I say this? because the only intent of starting a thread like THIS is to cause trouble. Yes you are entitled to your opinion. Yes it is a free country and free board. But initiating a thread the way you did, well it came across as a thinly veiled attempt to put down those of us who DID participate in the threads you refer to!
I am sorry you were offended-- I am sure that was NOT anyone's intent today.
The other threads you refer to (no matter how you'd like to classify them; immature, unclassy or otherwise ) were initiated originally in the spirit of 'fun' . Indeed they were asking for advice about a certain personal topic, and yes that turned into something else a bit more detailed.. OK its not your taste, and you have a right to say so of course.. But this type of thread right here only causes trouble, IMO....someone's feelings are bound to get hurt in the process
That's my 2 cents...
So I will now do what everyone of us should do who is not interested in a particular thread.. discontinue posting on it

Unfortunately i missed all the fun posts today..but IMO...NWR can get really dull sometimes so having a funny yet provocative topic livens things up!!!! People can always go read the other gazillion other posts that are not considered offensive!

OMG thats right..she doesnt even know that this was happening.. That really is sucky.
And whats even sadder is that the post was really popular..does that mean we are classless for responding..'lol' Come on people lets not let this one disagreement get us down. Sex is always taboo. At least she didnt say who likes sex with animals..now thats something I was totally unprepared for and when I opened a seemingly harmless email..lets just say that i was totally unprepared for what I saw. So maybe from now on we should put warnings as suggested.

i don't think she waited, but once she saw that she logged off, i would have pulled the post and waited for her to come back on and THEN posted
