If you dont like the topic why read it...but it seems as if it has taken over the boards today and only in my measly little opinion do I think its just a tad classless.
Honestly, I dont want to know when and if anyone will be sleeping with someone on their first, second, third or 103rd date and I want to know less if they will be doing it with their period or not.
Yes, its a free country and of course you have freedom of speech to discuss whatever you may want but if thats the case then I feel that I have every right to put up this post.
Is nothing 'sacred' anymore?? And I dont mean that in a religious sense..I am just saying.

Yes, I do agree with the fact that I don't care when and how long people waited. LOL But did you read don's answer?? It made the whole thread worth it!

To go back to the topic- I do agree with you. These kinds of personal issues I go to my girlfriends about. But as you said, this is a free country and an open board. People can use this as they see fit- whether you deem it classless or not (so long as they are not offensive).

All I can say is that someone made a post referring to me and something I posted yesterday and I really wished they had FMd me directly about it instead of making it an object of a post--a thinly veiled reference to me directly. Calling someone--or the topic they posted--classless could hurt feelings.

I think nycchic was also offended and we need to remember that! Sometimes you open a thread and you read something you didn't expect to read.
IMHO if you are going to be posting about certain topics (such as having sex while you have your period) you may want to include 'Could be TMI...' or something like that. Many posters are really good about 'warning' others about the contents of their posts!
As far as classless, I really don't think she was referring so much to the poster as she was to the topic....
I can totally see her point!

I do agree that it is a bit much, I really din't care about you having and talking about sex ( I am able to be mature) but you period Come on that is a little over the top. This is not wedding related I understand but it also is a porn site. Just my opinion but it is inappropriate.

I don't think that's fair because she was honestly asking a question where she wanted an opinion involving other peoples' experiences. It's nothing close to a porn site, I don't see anyone posting pictures of naked men, women or positions.
