ugh ugh ugh

Just had to say I had a helllllish day at work today and got home to see an email from my online professor for grad school .. I totally misinterpreted an assignment and got a 3/10... UGH . I emailed to see if I can fix but he isnt the nicest of people by any means.

Work today just blew.. a parent is making my life miserable and there is this whole 'to do' ... It is my first year at this school and I DO NOT need this. At least she isnt complaining about ME as a teacher, but UGHHHHH

Oh no!!!!! I'm so sorry Jen. Don't worry, it's still early in the year to turn both your work and your school assignment around. It'll get better!!!

Don't worry about those parents. I'm sure if you talk to last years teacher they did the same. I teach 1st and there is a parent who comes in almost every day and just sits and watches. Just stay positive.

Awww!! Just talk to your professor, if he e-mailed you about misinterpreting the assignment then maybe he will let you redo it. Hang in there!!!

Don't you just love those parents...I have one PSYCHO mom who literally writes me 1 1/2 page letters each day....who's got the time?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!??! But I agree w/you - at least they aren't complaining about us as teachers - that would not be good

thanks guys, unfortunately my day today didnt get any better and I just ran home to eat and change because we have meet the teacher night tonight.

I am terrified this woman is going to come in and give me a problem.

Yea he basically said I cant make it up but still have a a- in the class so far

First of all, dont worry about the school...you still have a whole semester ahead of you girl! One HW isnt going to make or break the A in the class...secondly, about this parent, talk to her...find out what her problem is with you or with whatever...straighten it out with her. Im sure all will get better Jen...hang in there!

I am sorry you are having work problems, I know how you feel. Hopefull it will get better for you. Maybe you can ask another teacher how to deal with the parent.

As for your school assignement, its only one, so don't worry about it.
I have been sitting here ALL day trying to write a paper that is on the most obscure topic. 5 hours later I still have 3 pages to write- I feel your pain!!
