So my sister is a photographer and had asked a friend of hers who is also a photographer to do my wedding for a low cost and my sister would develop all pictures and make all albums etc....well, I just found out the lady can't do it so I have to find someone else which means a lot more money. What recomendations do you have and if you feel comfortable can you post price range....thanks.

Gary Leli. I am paying around $5000 for photo and video and I'm getting SO much (a lot more than other photog's gave me that I priced). He is nice, friendly, calming and reliable. You can take a look at some of his work in my album (my e-pics). He gave me over 150+ proofs for them and it was included in the package. I can't say enough about him-- he went out of his way to have the pics ready for me THAT day.
Check his site out, it's on the vendors board although I have to say it does not do his work justice-- you would have to see his albums at his office for that (he works out of his house) and he bends over backwards... Plus, you get 'personalized' service with him which I really liked. HTH, good luck!
ETA: if you don't want to spend as much as we did that's OK, he is very good with working within a budget if you tell him what it is.

Duet.......we are paying for video as well though...just a lil under 5k
what is your budget if you dont me asking? my sisters in laws are photographers and they have tons of packages...also they can do just proofs and i think you get all negatives so maybe your sister can work off that? FM me if you want their info!

You should check out Silverfox. If you just book the photographer for the day you get all the proofs and all the pics on a high resolution CD. Then your sister can still make your albums for you. I think the one photographer for 10 hours is $1700
Fh and I got photo & video for $5000 total

We love love love our photographer. He did one of my sister's weddings and is doing ours. We are getting just photo but a fabulous package for $3300. We made a few upgrade adjustments and went with their 2nd highes package.

my photographer and florist are like my favorite vendors to be dealing with, probably because theyre COMPLETELY artistic in a way that totally captures my FH and i...Perceptions is my photo..you can speak to lucille, or anthony..im using geraldine ..they are all VERY talented and very comfortable to deal with.. we wanted VERY photojournalistic pictures, and the tope guys we went to charged a ridiculous amount of money..and were totally snobby...when we met w/ anthony and geraldine, we knew immediately we loved them and their work.. Twelfth Night! If I didn't book Patken, I would have gone with them! I fall in love with their pics every time I see them, and they're affordable because they don't sell 'packages'. You just pay for the photograher's time. I find their work to be AMAZING.
