One of my college roommates is getting married next year. She just sent me a pic of the dresses that she wants me to wear as a BM. It is just - ugly. I hate saying that... I can't tell her that because she loves it. I thought she was joking at first. But she isn't. It is totally her thing.
I do NOT want to spend the kind of money necessary for this dress - but I love her and I don't want to upset her.

I am so sorry! I know it stinks to have to spend money on something that you hate, but the dress is something that your friend loves, so to me that would be worth the money. Hopefully after the wedding you can alter the dress to make it into something that you would wear again. Sorry again!!!
