this is a nice forum. its kinda like getting into a pool for the first time. WE ALL know how that feels. your reluctant to get in cause its gonna be cold. and your gonna be frozen. but when your in for a few minutes your body gets used to the cold and the water actually feels nice a warm and refreshing. aaaaaahhhhh. there are diffrent kinds of people though, the kinds who like to put their feet in the water to test, those who like to just go knee deep for 2 hours before mustering up enough courage to go in all the way, and those who just jump right in. who am I..... i like to jump in. (howd you guess) and thats how this forum is. soooo, the only problem is its a litlte toooo cold in here and my body temp is going down. so I either have to get out or plead with the administrators to make a comfortable place for the grooms to be.
administration requests: 1- make a little warm spot for us grooms, perhaps called 'Grooms Lounge' !?!? 2- change my status from liwedding newbie to KING (in all caps like that too) I AM a pioneer after all. and it would command more respect from some of the grooms.
but lets get real, this wouldnt even happen in a perfect world. no self respecting man is gonna fart around on a wedding forum like me (I have no respect for myself). so basicly this wont happen ever. its too bad, cause I dont like asking women about when I should be getting suits and gifts and tips and performing proper edicate, WHY? caUSE most people think men are born with these instincts, just like we think women should be cooking and cleaning takin care of the childrens. as we all know this is faaaaar from what really happens. so mabe it would be cool if there were a little place here to allow men to 'pretend' like we know proper edicate and such. (kinda like the blind leading the blind eh). so I think I wasted enough time.
what do you think, should I post this as its own subject or should I just keep my mouth shut cause it aint gonna happen anyway

It sounds like something my FI would do. At least you know he'll make you laugh over the years! My FI started reading over my shoulder last night (I JUST joined up) and he was getting a kick out of all the stuff us 'brides' talk about. I'm writing this at work - because if my FI saw this string of e-mails/posts he would be next to join the bandwagon. Maybe we should get the two of them together to create a GROOM site - my FI is in the computer technogoly business. In any event, good luck and I'm sure your wedding will be a PARTY!

the only problem is finding grooms to join, there has to be an incentive. we wont join unless were getting something out of it. advise isnt good enough.
