Uh-Oh Typo

Uh-Oh Typo

OK so I spent way too many hours formatting and reformatting our menus and donation cards.....well I thought they had been proofed by FH and so I printed them and halfway through folding them....dun dun dun....two typos...arghhh. We finished them up and said 'oh well'

I knew I should have posted on here for proofreading but I am an idiot.

This is how it reads.

With much thought and consideration, we have chosen a special way to say 'Thank You' for sharing our wedding day with us. In lieu of a traditional wedding favor, donations have been made to:

American Cancer Society
&
American Diabetes Society

We feel the greatest gift is one that can help others. Thank you for sharing in our in our special day!

Is it noticable? Be honest.

Also on the menu I put Pomodor Sauce...instead of Pomodoro sauce. I even had the hall proof it and they missed it! Arghh. FH had a million chances to look it over and never did. I thought he did! It has been sitting on his desk and on the couch for months and he never looked at it. OK vent over..thanks!

I must say at first I relly didnt notice it. Its ok its not that bad of a typo!

I had to actually read it twice to spot the mistake!
Most people won't even notice!

OK thanks...I am hoping people will read will fast and not notice. As for the Pomodor sauce...that is pretty sad...we are both italian. What a disgrace I am!

Ok thanks! I am just so mad because I spent so many hours just getting the right fonts and spacing and cutting and pasting and fixing and fixing again....then more hours folding and tying ribbons, and ughh what a pain! I am going to post picture of all my DIY this weekend!

to be honest, i noticed the typo right away. i personally would change it if it's not too much of a hassle, but if you leave it it's not like you spelled your names wrong. it's an innocent mistake.

i dont think the menu typo is as big of a deal because people will just assume it's what the hall calls the sauce?

i see the 'in our' twice, after reading it a second time, but missed it the 1st time...most people probably wont even notice.

I really would have changed it but a lot of labor was involved and we already did like 100 of them. It took both FH and I 3-4 hours to print fold and add bows. You'll see when I post pics (samples in album). It isnt just a piece of paper to put on everyone's plate. Its folded twice and pressed flat again with a butter knife for smoothness! Ughhh what a pain.
