Am I dumb what's a slipper basket? Is it just what it says but for who and where do you have them?

Those things fall apart tho. I know when they were really in style a few years ago I wore one pair out so bad my toe made a hole in them! (losahhh....what was I thinking?! why didnt I just buy another pair they're 5 dollars!)

hahaha i loved those too...when I was in college a NYU they sold them all over the place...I lived right outside of china town so i had a couple pairs...so comfy, but i always found myself slipping and falling!

maybe it was cheaper...cant remember. It was in one of those chinese stores down the block from my mom's old house. They had a big box of them everyone was crowding around like vultures trying to get them! I think it was that whole supply and demand thing, they knew the slippers were popular so they bumped the price up!

I have no prob paying extra for great photogs, great dj/band, a reception hall with great food, paying for extra food... These are the things people rem about weddings...
Not what your invitations looked like, not what your favors or placecards looked like... not what your centerpieces looked like... slipper baskets, cry packets, i do letters, out of town gift bags...
I almost have to laugh at half the crap that people are willing to spend $$$ on ... No offense to anyone doing these things, of course... Everyone has a difference of opinion
Your guests will remember how the wedding made me feel... Were they up dancing? Where they having a good time? Was there plenty of food? Was the food good? Was there an open bar with premium liquor?
I wanted the slipper basket but reading this totally changed my mind! i agree w/ you..who's going to remember it? I think maybe ill stick some in my bridesmaids bags and tell them what there for! You made a great point! and im saving money and aggrivation

And I agree with ya too!! I think it is very thoughtful to provide the BM's with them... After all the blood and sweat to make your wedding perfect for you, its a nice thing to make them feel comfy during the event!
