I live in Rockaway...

there are shootings here, but there are registered sex offenders all over this town... I think the are trying to keep up with the amount of shanty irish here...

FH and I decided it was a good idea to move when a cop got shot and killed at the Walgreens down the street from us and a body was found floating in the canal in front of our condo building

I LOVE LIVING IN FL!! sooo much fun ( )

oh wow how can you check if sex offenders live in your town?

We are looking for houses so maybe I should look into it before we sign the contract

i live in valley stream... let's revist the events of the past year:

last black friday -- man dies after being trampled at walmart

marchish -- lady's body found in dumpster behind deli, AND robbers knock on a mans door at 7 am, shoot him in the legs and rob him (within like a week of each other)

last night -- 2 people rob the jewlery store right next to the train station i use every day and shoot the owner

I just checked watchdog.com and there are like millions of offenders all over the place near my home....

MY GOD!!! the number of offenders against children is so high!!! People are sick!!! i tell ya sick!!

Need to have my sis-in-law check this out coz she walks with my little nephew to his babysitter, which is in the heart of Hempstead, and I can't tell you how many offenders are roaming around there.

OOOH.. that's what was going on. I was on the train about 500 feet from the station while that was going on. We were stuck on the train for about 45 min since they suspended service.

Where in Valley Stream do you live?

yeah.......this is kind of misleading, i think....because a lot of these guys are like 18 year olds who got busted for sleeping with their 16 year old girlfriends. it's not like they're going around raping little children. (NOT that this doesn't happen, but i'm just saying that it's nowhere near as common as watchdog makes it seem.)
