We went to a wedding about a month ago. Just got there thank you card.--... it was a computer generated card that read the following: 'Thank you for the lovely wedding gift, and for sharing in our special day.' Matt & Kristi
Everything was done on computer --including their names. They didn't even SIGN their own thank you cards! - I thought it was very rude.

I received a computer generated thank you recently too. I feel it is SO tacky too.

Rude! I went to a Christening once and was handed a pre-written thank you card when I gave my envelope.--That was pretty bad!
This is the norm in FHs family. EVERYONE does it. for showers, christenings, only thing they dont do it for is weddings!
If they could pick up a pen to endorse the check they were given I think they can pick it up to sign their names to the thank you card!

Yeah, I went to a coworker's wedding in August 04, and never got a thank you note. He even mentioned a few months after his wedding that he needed to write thank yous. So he KNOWS that he was being rude.
