Unconventional wedding ceremonies

I remember reading a post a while back about some good websites about unconventional ceremonies - anyone have any idea?

Thanks!

Re: Unconventional wedding ceremonies

We're looking for something really outside the box... already married at city hall so we don't need an officiant... we also don't like the idea of a processional... something very intimate and personal, that somehow involves the bridal party... we just need some ideas!

Re: Unconventional wedding ceremonies

Why dont you simply say your vows to each other and do something that was done at my baby shower. Each of the godparents (we have 5) had to say something about the baby..in this case it would be about the couple. Its different and sweet becasue it is from the heart.

I REALLY like that idea... but I'm a little nervous that not everyone in the bridal party will be comfortable speaking

Re: Unconventional wedding ceremonies

HA ha..we had one..our Best man.

But what we did was let them know before hand and those who were comfortable..did..ask them..you may be surprised..some of the best spoeeches have come from people who ARE nervous speaking..they speak from the heart.
