Under our minimum

Was anyone else under their minimum?? And if so did you negotiate with you RH to throw some things in to even it out?? We havent heard back from everyone yet (although the RSVP date was days ago lol) but I can tell even if they all say yes we will be under.

It's not the worst thing that could happen, I know a lot of girls have negotiated and gotten some extras thrown in. You could always invite the LIW ladies, too.

Like 25!!! lol We invited a lot of people with guests but surprisingly a lot of people responded without a guest. I think we will be inviting some of our siblings friends who weve known for a long time but will not feel slighted that they werent originally invited. They will prob come just for the party!!
Ah...LIweddings ladies....good point! Who wants to come??

Yeah I think Im going to do that. Thank you!!! That's my mush Bauer. FH surprised me with a ring and the dog to propose to me lolol

My place said that they would throw things in if we were under. We are going to be way over, but i remember them telling us that if we were under we could get like a sushi station or martini bar,...etc

we were under by a lot. we started inviting ppl last minute like crazy and managed to get 25 more ppl, and we were still under. We're still upset at a lot of people who were surprise no's

That happened to my friend and her catering hall stood firm. She invited all their friends' parents (their wedding was in their hometown so lots of them still lived local) to make up the difference.

Me too....love weddings!!! Seriously, let me know if you need 2 extra guests :)))
Most RHs throw something in to make up the cost of the plates...my RH didn't do that (we were under our min too) but they were the only ones I know who didn't. They counted vendors and babies towards the mininum, then split the difference with us.
