Well let me first start off by saying I had my first fitting today ... and what a moment! The dress was stunning, just beautiful! Sorry I dont have any pictures for while I have them I dont want to post any <3 I want the dress to be a surprise!
Now on to the REAL question! I bought two undergarments to try and they were not any good. Appears I need more of a corset as opposed to a full body get up. Where on earth can I find one?
I went to Macys, JCPenny and Lord & Taylor in Garden City. HELP!

Blum's in Patchogue is amazing, and I hear good things about Georgette's but i'm not sure where that is... and I'm not even 100% that I have the name right, lol, but there's def another undergamrnet store further west that people swear by.

Georgette's is a bra shop on 107 in farmingdale its right across from grummins and next door to an applebee's. georgette's is great but make sure the bra you buy is exactly what you need because you can only return for store credit there.

I've heard really good things about Georgettes Bra, Girdle & Lingerie Place in Hicksville from two different bridal salons when I was trying on my dresses. I'm going to check them out when it gets closer to when I have to make the purchase..

ITA! I had very good luck at Georgettes. And as everyone else says...I have been wearing the wrong size my whole life.

your right georgettes is in hicksville i dont know why i thought it was farmingdale sorry about that

Georgette's is great... I got a corset from there about 6 years ago for my sister's wedding, and I have worn it a bunch of times since then instead of a strapless bra! Makes you look slimer and keeps the girls in place with any strapless dress! I'm going there to get one in white for my wedding!

Thanks everyone! I am going to try Madison Lingerie today. I went to Georgette's and she was a doll so they are my backup just in case. I am looking for more of an entire set, but dont want to schlep out to Patchogue (I am in Nassau).
Any other recommendations for a wedding corset please let me know!
