then how come i have been on other message boards... that are free... and some of them are private unless you register? I just don't understand.

Maybe they could make the '08' and '09' boards etc private but keep BHB open?

I think the vendors probably pay them so that when someone does a google search with the name of their company our boards come up. So if we say good things it's free publicity for the vendor. That's my guess anyway.

That's ridiculous! Did they say something to you?? This is where we are supposed to be able to come to be excited or vent - no one else but other brides or bride-to-bes who can understand what we are going thru should be able to view it!
