Any ideas? My mom wants to do something really unique or incorporate really unique elements in it.
It is going to be in August of September of next year.

Just went to a bowling bridal shower today at Dave and Busters I know 300 does it too
It was fun everyone bowled and the bride had her guests wrap their gifts in clear wrap so she didn't have to open any gifts

Would you do DJ chef? What about any of the vinyards out east if they have a wine making class, I know there was a place with wine bootcamp but it was a few days and alot of money!!!!

I just hosted one for my cousin I think we did and amazing job hahahah I will post you a pic later when I'm on my pc but we did a brazilian samba theme our centerpierces were 24 inch vases with feathers and had a samba dancer. She has everyone dancing even the older ppl.

the only thing i know about my shower is that it has an alice in wonderland mad hatter tea party theme. i thought that was unique and very fun

I love the Tea Party theme- but a bowling party would be awesome too - Dave and busters prices arent that bad PP. Melting Pot has different packages too- that would be different.Think about things your into and the types of people that will be there. I have a friend whos shower is being arranged in fire island this summer- I thought that was unique.

This is what we did... it was girls from 6-10 then 10 to 1 with all the guys from the fam, so we had about 150 people.

I live downtown Manhattan, so we rented a space on 8th street and 2nd avenue. We did the centerpieces ourselves and rented all the linens online and set it up....
a friend of mine is having hers here...something different HTH

MY mom threw me a tea party.. Everyone wore hats.. We had teapot centerpieces with flowers....she had it at old bermuda inn in staten island and they have packages for the tea party, little sandwichs and pastry...

Just had my shower yesterday and friends/family did an awesome job. I would say it was pretty unique and can give you more of the specifics if you are interested but it depends what you and your mom are looking for. They had an asian theme (my colors are black and red so they incorporated that). Kept it small: just really immediate family and friends and had a caterer come to do cooking demonstrations. Had a sake tasting, made eggrolls, etc. Then, throughout the whole time they had a psychic in the other room doing readings. Everyone had so much fun, though I think it depends what you like. This was very 'me' so I loved it...
Felt more like a party then a bridal shower, but that was exactly what I was hoping for.

I just got an invitation for a Breakfast at Tiffanys inspired shower... The invite asked to please wear your very best little black dress and wear your pearls and costume jewelry.. I thought it was cute and different, but still classy!
