Is anyone doing Unity Sand instead of the Unity Candle at there ceremony?
I am doing the sand, but I am finding it to be a lot more expensive than just doing the candle.

We are doing sand also. We were going to do the candle but since we are getting married outside we would want the candle to blow out or no light because of wind or something.

we are doing the candles- my good friend used the sand, and by the time it got home the sand colors were all mised up etc It Kinda turned me off

We're doing sand b/c our ceremony venue won't let us do candle, unless we pay for a fire marshal (the downside of using a place that doesn't ever have wedding ceremonys!). We found our vases on ebay.

I bought my sand set off of ebay. They also sell sand on there for cheap.

How many pounds of sand did you/do you think I will need? I think it is better to buy the sand on Ebay, bc it is cheaper.

I'm doing sand. I ordered engraved cylinders from Amazon and 2 bags of sand, blue and white. I think the whole thing came to $45? HTH!
