Please tell me they start at the bottom and work their way up to the alter ???

It gets rolled out right before the bride walks..some do it before the bp but most do it for the bride...it gets rolled to the bride by usually the limo drive and is either tacked or taped down to the floor so that is doesnt shift
the weddings I have been to-- the ushers unroll it right before the bride comes down. I live in Illinois though so maybe things are done differently in LI

It can be choice of the bride too..only recently have brides begun to do personalized aisle runners, they used to be borrowed from the limo company in essence the limo driver would do it.
I wanted 2 of my friends to un-roll mine but the limo driver did it anyway
