What is the word (I think it starts with an S) when a word has another meaning other than the objective meaning? (the word I am thinking of is NOT 'subjective')
An example is (I know this will make no sense but bear with me)
In Greek, the word for bucket is Kouvas. Now, in Greek, if you call someone a Kouvas that means his head is empty and basically he's a dope.
WHAT IS THE WORD THAT DESCRIBES WHAT THE MEANING OF THE WORD IS IN THE SECOND EXAMPLE???
I've been trying to figure this out for DAYS and can't remember it lol HELP!

I was thinking semantics too. I looked up subjective and objective meaning and found some philosophical essay about the meaning of language. It took me back to college. I took a class of that.

That doesn't sound right either - the word I'm looking for had a an 'opposite'
Like the way Objective and Subjective are 'opposites'
