My fi and I are trying to find a great song for us. Unfortunately, we never really 'had a song.'
We havent had luck with any of the traditional songs.
Any suggestions?

We might be using Such Great Heights!! It is such a beautiful song...a little sad though, and maybe too slow...we will see.

I have to admit the INXS song does make me think about suicide... I love the Jack Johnson songs... I never really think of Such Great Heights as sad. Have you heard the Postal Service Version?? That's actually the original. I rad in a Brides Magazine once that the Postal Service version of SuchGreat Heights was one of the top 5 wedding songs on the West coast - isn't that funny? I feel like no one here has really ever even heard it! Let me know what you pick! ALMOST TIME FOR US!!

well our song is wonderful tonight by eric clapton...im a blonde and it mentions that in the song..and it was the first song we would always get up to dance to at any event...we always considered it our song.
are you blonde? try it out...u dont have to be blond..i think it is a simple love song..and it works for us.

We're dancing to Recipe for Love by Harry Connick, Jr. It's the only song that is 'our song' sing FH used to sing it to me all the time. It's faster than the normal slow balad and with the horn section in our band its gonna be a lil something different.

oooh nice! good song selection and I can imagine with the band...
I kinda wanted to change our song but jesse was like it is 'our' song...why find a song that better fits a wedding when we have a song that fits 'us' fine...did anyone have that trouble!?

A little bit - We're using 'You' by freekbass because it has a lot of meaning for us, but there were SO MANY songs I loved that were better for a wedding, so we're just going toplay them all at some point (and hopefully be able to dance to them!!)
